Since I got here I have only worked on my Illustrations but now I have all of the materials gathered to start with my oil paintings. I have bought a new paper I have never tried before; arches oil paper. I have worked with oil on paper before, both in my early youth and in my printmaking classes.
I am so excited to try it. One of my biggest inspirations is Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) and she painted on huge papers back in the 1900s.
#arches #oilpaper is available both by the yard and in smaller pieces but I have found that they are still hard to come by.
