Hilma af Klint

The painter who inspires me the most is the Swedish painter Hilma af Klint. She was an abstract painter and a spiritist. She was ahead of her time and didn’t think anyone would understand her art so she hid all of her paintings from the world and wrote in her will that they should be exhibited 50 years or so after her death. The past year her exhibition has toured all over and right now you can see her work of art in Denmark. I really whish I could go and see her work but I think I will settle with buying her book for now.
